Meteorologist/Multi-Media Journalist

KNOE 8 News, Your Breaking News & Weather Authority, Monroe, LA seeks Meteorologist/Multi-Media Journalist for our number one award-winning news and weather products.  

 Responsibilities will include producing and anchoring weekend weathercasts, assisting in our award-winning severe weather coverage and performing other weather related duties as assigned. Position will include reporting, shooting and editing as a multi-media journalist (MMJ) three weekdays. Applicants must have one year professional weather anchor experience as well as experience as a MMJ.  

 Successful applicants will clearly present the station’s weather brand during times of severe weather and must understand the importance of the web and social media in relaying life-saving information to our community.   A meteorology degree is required.  Experience with WSI, weather seals, and shooting and editing skills are desired.

KNOE/KAQY/NNOE/KNOE Digital is looking for sales leader for a TV operation located in  Monroe,La./El Dorado, Ark.  The GSM will have primary responsibility of overseeing revenue for the entire operation and report to the President/GM.  

Candidate will be able to demonstrate sales leadership be motivated, creative, strategic,    and solution-oriented.  This person will lead the entire sales operation with a specific focus on local direct and non-traditional business development.  Finally, the ideal candidate must be  extremely visible in the market, and very involved with the staff.
