Job Responsibilities: KALB-TV News Channel 5 is looking for a News Producer.The ideal candidate will bring an energy and excitement to the news gathering process that includes an emphasis on what people want to watch. Knowledge of current events, solid news judgment and excellent writing skills are a must. The ability to bring to the table fresh story ideas and creative news broadcast showcasing is plus. Job Title: Reporter - Multi-Media Journalist
Reports To: News Director
Job Responsibilities: The function of a REPORTER/MMJ is to develop story ideas that reach our target audience and to turn those ideas into well-written and visually compelling stories. You must be willing to shoot and edit your own work with Panasonic P2 cameras in a digital editing environment. In addition, you should have excellent people skills, work well under pressure and have an extensive knowledge of local, state, national and world events. We are looking for someone who will generate their own story ideas rather than waiting for the press release! Job Title: Part Time Production Tech
Reports To: Operations Manager
Job Responsibilities: KALB NBC 5.1 and CBS 5.2 is looking for a part time Production Tech. The production tech position will assist in the production of daily newscast and commercial production, as well as special projects and programs. The person hired for this position must have good interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, and be able to work varied hours/shifts. High school diploma is required, college degree is preferred.
